Service Description
Palel Atmoko is the drummer for Navicula, the Bali based rock band known for their powerful live shows and strong message driven music. He joined the band in 2017 and has toured internationally, bringing solid energy and feel to both stage and studio. With a background in formal music education and years of live experience, Palel plays with strong timing, control, and instinct. At our school, he focuses on building solid foundations, rhythm, dynamics, control , all while helping students grow confident behind the kit and understand how drums drive a band. Class times: 3pm (1 hour) & 4:30pm (1 hour)

Black Sand Studio – Music School Policy Program Overview Black Sand Studio Music School offers small group and private music classes for beginners and developing musicians. Classes focus on fundamentals, technique, musical understanding, and creative expression in a supportive studio environment. Class Size To ensure quality instruction, classes are limited to a maximum of 10 students per session. Booking & Enrollment All classes must be booked at least 6 hours in advance through the studio booking system. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance Students must arrive on time and attend the full session. Late arrivals may reduce learning time and disrupt the class. Missed classes are not guaranteed to be rescheduled unless approved by the instructor. Instruments & Equipment Students are encouraged to bring their own instruments. Studio equipment must not be used without instructor approval and must be treated with care. Respect & Behaviour Black Sand Studio is a respectful learning environment. Students must treat instructors, staff, and other students with respect and follow all instructions from studio staff and teachers. Harassment, aggression, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Guests Only registered students may attend classes unless approved by studio staff. Recording & Media Classes may occasionally be recorded or photographed for educational or promotional purposes. Release forms may be required before recording or filming. Food, Drinks & Smoking No smoking inside the studio. Food is not permitted inside teaching rooms. Drinks must be kept away from instruments and equipment. Drugs Policy No drugs — zero tolerance. Possession or use of illegal drugs will result in immediate removal from the program. Authority & Liability Instructors and studio staff have final authority during classes. Students may be held responsible for any damage to studio equipment or property.
